This is from our trip to Switzerland in September 2010. A classic view of the old wooden bridge in Lucerne Switzerland. This is the brige with all the old artwork in the beams. Most of the time street performers were doing their trade on the bridge. I painted from the side opposite old town. This is from down stream side away from the main boat dock and between the two old bridges. While at this spot I met the President of the Chinese Watercolor Society. He was painting this same scene. We talked through his interpreter, exchanged cards and email address. His work sells for mucho dollars in China. My does not.
